Opposition youth leagues will be gathered together in Ramotswa for the Botswana Congress Party youth league's youth conference this weekend.
The BCP Youth League has invited the Umbrella for Democratic Change Youth League to join in the event, which they will use to appeal to the youth in the area in an effort to garner votes for the party's candidate Seitiso Ditlhong to be their councillor.
The Botswana Qualifications Authority (BQA) has been, in past few months, informing its stakeholders that its Regulations will be gazetted soon.
The Regulations have been gazetted effective 17th June 2016 and would be implemented in a month. It is expected that the BQA will in due course communicate the transition plan and build stakeholder capacity to update the new Regulations.
Dr Prince Dibeela has worked as an advocate for democratic leadership in Botswana and throughout Southern Africa. He has served as host of a programme of national conversations in Botswana on issues of leadership, multi-party democracy, land policy and church state relations.
He has also worked as a trainer in the areas of Conflict Resolution through mediation, overcoming HIV and AIDS, Community Organizing and Mobilization. Since 2002 Dr Dibeela has at different times served as convenor, mediator and arbiter in efforts to build a broad based corporation between opposition parties in Botswana.
