Letsile storms to victory in 200m final

Botswana's young sprint sensation and Junior World Champion Tebogo Letsile won a relatively competitive 200m final race at Botswana's Golden Grand Prix at the National Stadium in Gaborone in a time of 19.87 seconds today.

The National Amalgammated Local, Central Government and Parastatal Workers Union Tuesday shared its submissions to the Constitutional Review Commission of Botswana headed by former Chief Justice Maruping Dibotela, in a press conference with journalists at MASA Protea Hotel.

What is a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC)?

A Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) or in the case of the Botswana Stock Exchange, a Special Acquisition Company (SAC), is a company with no existing commercial operations, but is formed strictly to raise capital on the stock exchange for the sole purpose of acquiring assets. In short, a SPAC is a publicly traded shell company with no operations of its own, with a specific mandate to acquire other companies or even merge with them.
